A baby inside the yellow bell pepper (capsicum) that I was cutting up for dinner is not something that I had expected to see that evening. Click the image for a bigger version.

I am equally fascinated and grossed out at the same time. Did you eat the baby?
No I didn’t. I was a little too weirded out. I’ve added a larger image if you click the picture so you can get a closer look at it.
Hehehehe. For some reason, the bigger picture seems dirty. I feel naughty when I look at it.
Sorry about that!
Oh, I love finding one of those!! I consider it a good luck sign. I’ve never had any good luck from them…but you never know.
And I chop it up and eat it. It’s to peppers what veal is to beef.
How often do you get one?? I have NEVER seen it before.
I’ve found them a few times. I’d say about every other time I cook with peppers. I probably have good luck finding them because I shake the peppers before buying to check if I can hear anything rattling around in there.
Wow, so you actually seek out mutant bell peppers?
I get excited when I see them. It is like a tiny little prize inside my pepper. They’re yummy.
This is a great post. Thank you and Google for chance to read it.
