Filed Under (Life with Scott, Cats) by Scott English

This morning I when I went to pick up my Gypsy Girl’s ashes from the Centerville Rd Animal Clinic in Garland, TX, I was told that they had experienced a burglary the evening before. Among what was stolen were the remains of my cremated cat. One of the loves of my wife and I’s lives. As if we were not traumatised enough by her passing, now we are faced with not being able to bring her back to rest where she finally needs to be. At home.

My wife and I are so distraught over this.

You probably wont believe how incredibly this hurts.

I know this is such a long shot, but I really have to try…

$500 reward for the return/information leading to the return of the cremated remains of our beloved Gypsy. No questions asked. My email is scott@thescottenglishshow.com.

I am so sorry that I did not come and get you yesterday, Gypsy.

I really hope this works out for you guys. I cannot imagine what an awful feeling that is. To lose a loved one, and then have them stolen from you.

Thank you Kelly. It’s not good at all. But I appreciate the thoughts.

Oh wow, that is the worst. Why on earth would someone do that? On second thought I don’t want to know.

I can’t even imagine how I would feel. I hope you get her back somehow.

I hope that you get your beloved Gypsy back. This is very sad. I get to cat sit today for a friend. I will take the time to give his cats lots of play time and appreciation. Thanks for sharing this. It makes me treasure what is really important.

Wish I could help. Mary

Tiffany: Yes, it is pretty terrible. I have no idea of what motivation anyone would have for stealing the cremated remains of a family pet. I try not to think about any of those eventualities and just hope that we will get her returned to us. So far, no luck but a local news station has expressed some interest in doing a story about the incident to the animal clinic, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it might generate some sort of attention and maybe result in getting our girl back. *fingers crossed*

Mary: Thank you for those kind words. I am still holding onto the hope that we will get Gypsy back. I appareciate your sentiments. Hope you have fun and a good time with the cats!

Maybe you should get some of your own? ;)
