I enjoyed watching Rachel Ray at one point. Then after a while, not so much. She got a little repetitive and that just made it all the harder to ignore just how annoying she can be.
This video clip is mighty amusing, and I imagine that if you have even the slightest familiarity with Rachel Ray, you’ll get a kick out of it as well.
Thanks go out to Slashfood where I found the original link to the video.
Thanks for stopping by and remember: Never tell a lie unless it is absolutely convenient.
I agree. I have always thought she was annoying. Though, I can still watch her show if I am looking for something mindless to drone on while I fold laundry or something. Plus I do like that she offers up recipes that don’t seem to hard to make. (And the italian popcorn recipe is SO good)
Her newer show “Tasty Travels” is nothing but a bunch of $40 a day clips pasted together. And I hate the phrases “E-V-O-O”, “Yum-O”, and “Sammies”.
I hate Rachael Ray… I always have. Giada forever.
Rachel Ray’s voice makes me want to poke out my eardrums with dull pencils.
Giada, Giada, Giada. Yes. Rachel Ho Hum. But this video was Rachel distilled. lol
Kelly (crickie): Oh damn that Italian Popcorn is SO good. And I made a “sammy” of hers that was also to die for once.
But yes, I agree, Tasty Travels is re-running $40 A Day, and her phraseology drives me bonkers.
Ashley: Ugh Bobble Head isn’t much better.
Chickie: Yikes! Is all the stationery in your house locked away safely in a cabinet somewhere just in case an errant $40 A Day commercial comes on?
Mom: Oh good lord, another vote for the Bobble Head.
Fine! You know what? In my honest opinion Alton Brown and Paula Deen pretty much rule the entire Food Network.
But I kind of like Jacques Pepin, too. His French accent is too funny. He uses “cookie-shits” and “shops” his food and adds “shives”. And his recipes are usually simple enough to use.
Ashley: Ok, at least now you are starting to type a little more sense.
Paul Deen is a walking cardiac arrest waiting to happen, but at least her recipes are a little more palatable than the Two Fat Ladies.
Alton Brown is a genius. I just hope it doesn’t go to his head.
Mom: You know, unfortunately I haven’t had much exposure to Jacques Pepin, but what I have seen of him, I have enjoyed. And the interpretting is kinda fun.
